∎ Candidates for this position should possess a CA/ACCA/CIMA/MBA qualification, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in senior accounting roles, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity. S/he should demonstrate a proven track record in financial reporting, internal controls, and financial analysis. Essential skills include exceptional organizational abilities, profficiency in producing high-quality written and data reports for senior management, and adept problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

∎ BRAC University (BRACU) invites qualified individual to join as Joint Director, Central Accounts. This pivotal role offers theopportunity to oversee and manage the university’s Accounts and Finance operations while contributing to its mission of academic excellence and innovation.

∎ RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ In the capacity of Joint Director, Central Accounts, this individual will oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, implementing robust internal controls, managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring the integrity of general ledger records, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions. S/he will lead and motivate a team of accounting professionals, manage financial projects such as ERP implementation, and ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. Staying abreast of accounting trends and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams are also key aspects of your role.
