• Minimum HSC or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

• At least 3 years

• At least 3+ years of experience as IT technician and servicing related work.

• Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and network management.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.

• Experience in CCTV, Fire alarm system installation.

• Understanding of IT service management and support systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.

• Strong communication skills to assist end-users with technical issues.

• We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join our Technical Support Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring the proper functioning of our organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves both in-office and field support, requiring a blend of technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Hardware & Software Maintenance

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices including printers, scanners, and network devices.

• Set up and maintain CCTV systems and fire alarm systems, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.

• Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide technical support to end-users, both inside and outside the office, addressing any hardware, software, or network-related issues.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including the repair or replacement of damaged components.

• Support end-users in resolving technical challenges and providing training where necessary.

Network & Infrastructure Management

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, and other related equipment.

• Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless connectivity.

• Respond promptly to service issues, system outages, or emergencies to minimize disruptions.

Inventory & Resource Management

• Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and other IT resources, ensuring timely procurement and availability of necessary components.
