• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or a related discipline.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in education technology, academic program management, curriculum development, or digital transformation — including at least 2 years leading school- or institution-wide technology or academic initiatives.
• Basic knowledge of web application security, authentication, authorization, and data protection.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments within deadlines.

To support the Group’s growing focus on AI-driven education and digital transformation, we are seeking a proactive and innovative Academic AI Program Lead to lead the development and implementation of AI initiatives across STS institutions.

Reporting To: Chief AI officer, STS Group

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work as a member of the central AI team to translate the Group’s AI strategy into academic programmes across STS institutions.
• Identify and priorities high-value AI use cases in teaching, learning, and assessment in consultation with academic leadership.
• Integrate frontend applications/dashboard with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP, Java script, Python (Django).
• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable APIs.
• Report progress, time-saved and quality evidence to the Chief AI Officer.
