Position Overview:
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s server, network, and system infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and high availability. The role involves troubleshooting system issues, supporting virtualization and network services, and providing timely technical support to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with development and IT teams for infrastructure and End user’s support.
• Administer, configure, and maintain Router, Switches and Access Points.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and system documentation.
• Troubleshoot system, server, and network-related issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Good Idea on Install, configure, and manage Mail Servers (Postfix, IMAP) to support end users.
• Good Knowledge on Manage and maintain DNS Servers and Web Servers (Apache/Nginx/IIS).
• Knowledge on Hypervisors (VMware / Proxmox / Hyper-V) for virtualization management.
• Ensure strong network security, firewall configuration, and access control.
• Monitor system performance and perform capacity planning.
• Provide on-call or after-office support during emergency situations.
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and security updates.
