Job Context:
∎ Applications are invited for IT Officer of USTC on prevailing terms and conditions:
∎ Job Description:
∎ a) Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, system management tools, and applications software for both servers/clients
∎ b) Monitoring the security, backup, and sluggish approaches of users (students/other users)
∎ c) Maintaining third-party service providers to oversee systems and fix issues
∎ d) Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support both on-site and remotely
∎ e) Managing desktop imaging process, including creating and updating of Cadence (VLSI) software tools
∎ f) Reporting daily Lab status to respective Coordinator of the Lab

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate must have the following segments of skills –
∎ 1. S/He must have expertise in Client/Server maintenance under both Linux (Red Hat) and Windows (8/10) environment
∎ 2. Candidates who have certifications in Red Hat Linux with CCNA/MCSE (Server infrastructure; desktop infrastructure; private cloud; data platform; business intelligence; messaging; communication; SharePoint , identity management; systems management; virtualization; storage; networking) may be preferred for this Laboratory.
∎ 3. Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in software/web design and development using Microsoft technologies.
∎ 4. Solid experience required to work on PHP, WordPress and MySQL and related technologies.
∎ 5. Experience to work on Angular, SSIS, Web Services or Web API will be an added advantage.
∎ 6. Should possess excellent communication skills, team leading experience will be a plus point
∎ 7. Knowledge and expertise in PHP, MySQL, Web API, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, WordPress etc are required.
