Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement IT policies and guidelines to ensure the appropriate use of IT equipment and services in compliance with WVI Partnership Standard.
∎ Provide IT technical support and training to users in BRCRP Offices and Analysis of User Requirements with Technical Reporting to the Managers and NO IT Team.
∎ Ensure IT capacity building through training to Project staff and dissemination of IT Environment, Safety and Security.
∎ Over all Monitoring and Provide System related Intelligence, Forecasting about Users, Network, Risks and Facilities.
∎ Regular Scheduled Maintenance of Servers, Network Equipment and Power Backups.
∎ Provide on demand Day to Day Support to the BRCRP and remote Offices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Require knowledge of basic IT systems, internal controls and procedures. Essential
∎ Must have thorough knowledge of and commitment of World Vision, its Ministries, Vision and Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Covenant of Partnership. Essential
∎ Thorough knowledge and high-level skills and experiences of computer hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance. Essential
∎ Basic understanding of commonly used network protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, VPN, FTP etc) as well as routing, switching and firewalling. Essential
∎ Knowledge of any of the following is a plus: CA ArcServe/TSM, Microsoft IIS 7.0, Lotus Dominos Server, Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition, Anti-Spam/Anti-Virus. Essential
∎ Knowledge on Lotus Dominos and Lotus Notes is highly preferable. Essential
∎ Knowledge on MIS/DB administration, storage system and clustering
∎ Demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken English. Essential
∎ At least 4-6 years experiences in providing IT technical support, preferably with NGO context and environment Essential
∎ Any IT certifications such as MCSA/ MCP/ CCNA/ A+/ Network+
∎ Should be able to travel and work in remote locations up to 50% of time
∎ Work will require visits to the Project Offices.
∎ Diverse language group and some work areas have security issues and work under deadline driven work-load.
Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
