Job Responsibilities:
∎ Install and troubleshoot systems.
∎ Develop and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs, analyzing requirements, and developing software systems.
∎ Identify requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual clients.
∎ Program the computer by encoding and adding project requirements in computer language.
∎ Confirm program operation by conducting tests.
∎ Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements.
∎ Provide custom reports using database and report-writing tools.
∎ Respond to IT-related issues and provides support where necessary.
∎ Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
∎ Protect the company by keeping information confidential.
∎ Ensure necessary support for installation and /or fixing of hardware and software issues for all IT users in the company by engaging on-site support engineers
∎ Determine and provide necessary solution for Windows and Office365 user topics
∎ Supervise and monitor user-offboarding and onboarding
∎ Liaise with regional colleagues and follow internal forums, user groups and discussion threads proactively to know about upcoming projects and ongoing issues
∎ Capture and document business specific and company-specific requirements related to software (ERP /local apps /other off-the-shelf software) and hardware (project-specific or user-specific)
∎ Decide on license requirement for various solutions to fulfill and ensure best value for money
∎ Manage and provision Windows Server, File Server, Application Server, Database Server, Print Server, DHCP Server, SCCM Server, NPS Server, vCenter Server in Microsoft-only platform
∎ Monitor and ensure connectivity with agreed bandwidth at both office premise and residence of VIP users through multiple ISPs
∎ Understanding of network architecture of LAN, WAN, WLAN including firewall, router, core and distribution switch for both office and guest networks to ensure overall network performance
∎ Coordinate with Managed Printing Service provider to ensure quality of printing, secured printing, technology and cost distribution across BUs
∎ Implement AMC with all relevant partners /principles for all IT services to ensure 100% coverage to ensure service continuation and support
∎ Act as the CR manager by capturing necessary user requirement and follow through the implementation by coordinating with external consultants
∎ Implement regional and local projects by preparing scoping document, engaging consultants and test the implementation before migrating to live server
∎ Provide configuration data files during annual reorg to update and maintain proper implementation blueprint
∎ Capture necessary user requirement and follow up the implementation by coordinating with vendors within deadlines
∎ Provide necessary environment (e.g. OS, DB server, application server etc.) for installation and execution of all IT applications
∎ Take data backup and perform recovery to ensure.
∎ Monitor current infrastructure components and plan replacement of devices and /or upgrade of services by preparing detailed description of products (BoM), services, delivery schedule, configuration and warranty.
∎ Support the procurement process by providing necessary clarification, taking part in the price negotiation and communicating with global focal points if required.
∎ Ensure the delivery plan is executed without fail by proactive and intense monitoring
∎ Keep track of all RFQs, QES, purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices and other relevant documents of all service /product providers are recorded without fail.
∎ Take part in annual budgeting activities for IT department by preparing and presenting the draft overhead costs, manpower plan and investment plan to the Executive Management.
∎ Ensure all local, regional and global services from Gildan Activewear Inc entities and external parties are justified, documented, covered and agreed preemptively through standard service agreements.
∎ Ensure all incoming invoices match with service descriptions and amounts as specified in preapproved agreements shared with Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies.
∎ Ensure quarterly rolling forecasts are properly updated to accommodate necessary changes in the figures for the IT department.
∎ Liaise with regional commercial colleagues to facilitate on time reporting in the designated tool.
