• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

The Projects Electrical Drafter is responsible for preparing accurate, detailed and compliant electrical drawings for industrial, commercial, renewable-energy and power-infrastructure projects. This role supports electrical engineers and project managers by converting design concepts, calculations and site data into professional construction drawings used for procurement, installation, commissioning and as-built documentation.

• Prepare detailed single-line diagrams (SLD), three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schematics and cable routing layouts.

• Develop layouts for: MV & LV substations (33kV, 11kV, 0.4kV), Transformers, switchgear, MCCs and distribution boards, Solar PV systems (string layouts, combiner boxes, inverters)

• Produce panel GA drawings, internal wiring diagrams and terminal plans. Meet the quality system (GQS) requirements related to his/her job functions.

• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards such as: IEC, IEEE, NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70B, BNBC or local codes.

• Apply correct symbols, layers, line types, legends and title block according to company drafting standards.

• Work closely with electrical engineers, site teams and project managers to interpret: Load calculations, Protection schemes, Equipment datasheets and vendor drawings, Incorporate comments from design reviews, clients and consultants.

• Participate in technical meetings when required.

• Maintain drawing registers and revision histories. Prepare: Design Drawings, Construction drawings and As-built drawings after site modifications.

• Ensure accurate version control and compliance with QA/QC procedures.

• Prepare the Week Presentation for the Electromechanical Department.
