Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA/MBM/Masters from any reputed University, preferably in business discipline or major in Finance & Banking with no third class/division in his/her entire academic career.

Job Context:
∎ A Shariah based commercial bank is looking for dynamic individuals for Investment Risk Management Department.
∎ The Investment Risk analyst is responsible for the identification and mitigation of various risks involved in both pre & post investment approvals. S/he is also responsible for monitoring existing investment lines while giving emphasis on irregularities in operation of the advances.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze and assess Investment proposals in terms of Consumer/ Business banking including the clients, transactions, purpose, clients' requirement, repayment capacity, financial analysis, and overall investment structuring as per bank's lending guidelines and regulations;
∎ Should have sound knowledge on different investment factors, market dynamics, industry insights and ability to analyze customer investment worthiness.
∎ Ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines as well as external regulatory requirements during the approval process;
∎ Appraise investment proposal for onward submission to the appropriate delegated authority including the Board of Directors and Senior Management for necessary approval;
∎ Ensure standard Turn-Around-Time (TAT) as per bank's strategy and policy for disposal;
∎ Assist the line manager/Department Head in preparation of reports and presentations as compulsory;
∎ Develop and implement policies & procedures that reduce Investment risk for the organization;
∎ Other tasks as and when assigned by the line manager/management.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Banks/ Financial Institutions
∎ Investment Risk Management
∎ Capable of analyzing SME or Corporate funded & non-funded business proposals.
∎ Must have knowledge on Investment policies.
∎ Sound knowledge in Banking/ Financial Sector and the regulatory issues.
∎ A good understanding of the Local Industry/ Market dynamics.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Advance computer skills.
∎ Should be proactive, dynamic and self-motivated to update with risk management issues and skills.
