Educational Requirements:
∎ Business Graduate/MBA along with Professional Degrees (i.e. FCA/ACA, FCMA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, PMP etc.). Internal Audit or related certification is an added advantage

∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Seek guidance about the priority of Financial and general business audit areas, business plan, and Senior Management and analyze the historical reports to identify risk areas
∎ Acquire requirements from the group and develop audit plans, discuss the schedule and scope of audit with the stakeholders and submit audit plan and discuss the changes with respective process owners accordingly
∎ Understands the IA strategy and contribute to risk assessment as appropriate in the preparation of the audit program
∎ Identify testing types, and sample size, develop questionnaires, and establish an audit program
∎ Follow the audit program, collect evidence and execute the audit, obtain Management response to finalize the report, and discuss issues with management before publishing the report;
∎ Based on the reports, suggest actions to mitigate risks as per the result of the audit and follow up on the implementation of risk-mitigating measures
∎ Document end-to-end audit work papers in the audit management system by following the internal audit methodology
∎ Perform special assignments and investigations based on the Management requests and report to the appropriate authority;
∎ Identifies opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of audit engagements and use technology and data analytics (i.e. audit and other Veon standard tools) in the conduct of audit engagements
∎ Maintain effective working relationships with the stakeholders in the areas of assigned work, respond appropriately to the feedback received from stakeholders in the areas of assigned work and actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and platforms
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Working experience in the telecommunication industry will be treated as an added advantage.
∎ Comprehensive knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards
∎ In-depth knowledge of controls, governance & risks
∎ Sound knowledge of data analytics
∎ In-depth knowledge of the telecommunication industry
∎ Strong knowledge of IFRS
∎ Good understanding of Corporate & Taxation Laws and Ordinances
∎ Sound interpersonal communication and professional report-writing skills
∎ Professional-level stakeholders management skills
∎ A well-rounded team player with a can-do approach
