Job Context:
∎ Counterpart International, Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of "Intern" from candidates who are currently pursuing an academic program that requires them to complete an internship. Applications are also sought from fresh university/college graduates who have completed their academic program within the last six months.
∎ Duration: 6 months (full time)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. Responsibilities
∎ The position holder is responsible for:
∎ This position is the only Intern and temporarily and mainly responsible for day-to-day logistics, procurement, and administrative support for the Counterpart International PAR team. Reporting to and working under the guidance and supervision of the Chief of Party/ HR, Office and Security Manager/Finance Manager. The Intern_ Administrative Assistant will support the management and oversight of all program activities, procurements with a focus on compliance with USAID rules and regulations, provide assistance to the Senior Technical Advisor, M&E and Learning Specialist, Chief of Party and International Consultants, as well as carry out activities to ensure effective project and office administration and assist the finance and grants team as required.
∎ In this context, the position holder fulfills the following tasks:
∎ B. Tasks:
∎ Support program activity logistics, ensuring participants, trainers, consultants and/or program staff have appropriate venues to participate in program events, foods, accommodation, travel arrangements, and needed supplies necessary;
∎ Support the administratice and office activities as necessary, including but not limited to logistics, financial reporting, office management, HR recruitment/documentation, and auditing.
∎ Support management of office facilities;
∎ Support procurement processes in compliance with Counterpart policies and USAID rules and regulations;
∎ Support the implementation and documentation of the program events in Dhaka and subnational levels;
∎ Filing vouchers and financial documents, and delivery of payment vouchers, checks to vendors/suppliers.
∎ Update contact databases.
∎ Assist in maintaining and updating project asset inventory.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned.
