Job Context:
∎ In order to create efficient and quality technologists for the Country, Saic Group operates Saic Institute of Medical Technology (SIMT). In the first year of its journey, students were able to get admitted in all approved seats. Later, the numbers of seats were increased gradually from the 2006-2007 academic year. Currently, in the 2018-19 academic years; eleven (11) divisions and 779 seats have been upgraded and students are allowed to enroll in approved seats. The Institution has its own 10-storey building and digital campus with all the modern and international quality facilities which is rare in this country. In the last few years, SIMT has become one of the best medical institutes among the private and public institutes. Diploma in Medical Technology course has been introduced in SIMT for creating skilled and qualified medical technicians (technologists).
∎ The role of the Instructor is to take responsibility for a particular course and to support the planning, development, and delivery of that course. In particular, the role ensures that the course aligns with the Government and Institutional Curriculum, Rules, and Regulations. Where necessary, integrates with other courses and units, efficiently manages resources associated with the course delivery and undertakes all requisite monitoring, evaluation and reporting associated with the course. The Instructor has a key role of assisting the course coordinator in assuring the quality of Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council approved academic programs and facilitating student success at the Institutions. The role encompasses successful course planning, course design and development, course delivery, selection of educational resources, assessment, students` learning outcomes, and proper course evaluation.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and guide the Students of his/ her classes
∎ Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in-charge for approval
∎ Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required
∎ Organize different Annual Programs (Science Fair, Cultural Program, Debates, etc.)
∎ Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution
∎ Take initiatives against any sort of disciplined activities by any of the subordinates or students
∎ Supervise the Teacher - Parents meeting and Result Day
∎ Counsel Parents/Guardians regarding their children's problems
∎ Conduct theoretical & Practical Classes as per Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council and Hamida Nursing Institute Management
∎ Facilitate in-house skill training for the teaching staff
∎ Assist Centre Head as per his/ her needed
∎ Prepare weekly attendance report and submit to the Course Coordinator
∎ Prepare lesson plan and semester plan at the beginning of the subject
∎ Positive willingness for Team work & Hardworking
∎ To arrange industrial attachment training & Industrial tour for students
∎ Any other duties assigned from time to time.

∎ At least Three (3) years experience as a Instructor/ Teacher/ Lecturer in a formal Educational Institution/ Nursing College
∎ Proficient in MS Office Suite
∎ Teaching/ Training, Education Administration/ Management, Education Counseling, Curriculum/ Program Development, TOT (Training of Teachers)
∎ Candidate must be good at communication and must have adequate knowledge in producing all sorts of reports and presentations
∎ Candidate should be able to function effectively independently as well as in groups
∎ Ability to work on tight schedule and must be able to meet the deadlines
∎ Hardworking, honest, energetic and innovative
∎ Have creativity, integrity, initiatives and imagination
∎ Prepared to accept challenges and work under pressure
Salary: Tk. 15000 - 22000 (Monthly)
