Experience:
Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Information Management System, Computer Science, Social Science, Statistics or related field.
Knowledge of the local context in the Rohingya community.
Strong data management, analytical & visualization skills.
Sensitivity to cultural and diversity issues.
At least 3 years’ work experience in a relevant role.
Fluency in relevant languages (e.g., Rohingya, English).
Maintain open and professional relations with all the project team members, promoting a strong & respectful team spirit, ensuring effective communication, and opportunities for debriefing.
Consistently and dedicatedly monitor/assess the safety and security of the team, promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Mukti Cox’s Bazar management and liaising with other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure quality implementation and contribution to Mukti Cox’s Bazar.
Strong facilitation skills, proven experience in conducting trainings/capacity building on education related issues in English and Bengali.
Demonstrated experience working in the FDMN response, humanitarian programs, and collaboration with other humanitarian actors.
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively, including the ability to advocate for and simplify complex education concepts.
Excellent English and Bangla oral and written communication skills.
Can effectively translate to and from English to Bangla to Chittagong/Rohingya language.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office package.

Job Context :
This is a project-based position. The Information Management Officer will be responsible for maintaining the data and information management systems for the FMDN Education project. Under the leadership of the Project Coordinator, the IM Officer will play a key, hands-on role in achieving harmonization of M&E efforts in the Project. An Information Management Officer (IMO) ensures that data and information are systematically collected, organized, analyzed, and shared to support decision-making, coordination, and accountability.
Job Responsibilities :
Data Collection and Compilation:
Design and implement data collection tools and systems for collecting education project activities, including learner’s enrollment, attendance, teacher performance, education supply and infrastructure development.
Compile and manage databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Database Management:
Manage project databases, ensuring data integrity, security and compliance with data protection standards.
Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement measures for improvement.
Information Analysis & Dissemination:
Analyze education project data to generate reports and insights for decision-making.
Develop and maintain a system for disseminating project information to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to project coordinator, M&E Officer and other stakeholders for updating performance indicators and progress towards project goals.
Information Security:
Implement measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive project information.
Adhere to data protection and privacy standards, especially considering the sensitive nature of the displaced population.
Technology Integration:
Explore opportunities to integrate technology into information management processes, such as mobile data collection, online reporting systems and innovative data visualization tools.
Capacity Building:
Train project staff in data collection protocols, information management systems and best practices.
Provide ongoing support to build the capacity of the team in information management.
Policy Compliance & Safeguarding:
Advocate for the integration & upholding Core humanitarian Standard (CHS) among team & stakeholders.
Raise awareness among team & stakeholders about the importance of policy compliance of organization, government & donor and safeguarding in the context of the Rohingya response.

Safeguarding and PSEA: To meet the program's objectives for safeguarding and PSEA implementation, make sure team members are protected from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. serve as a major resource for help, direction, and knowledge on safeguarding & Child protection for developing a safe workplace. To ensure that safeguarding standards are used in every course of action, team members should practice, advocate, and embrace safeguarding policy concerns.
