Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Development Studies or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 7 years of professional work experience as technical expert and advisor in international development or a related field (humanitarian assistance, foreign aids, program development, social Infrastructure development, livelihood, education & skills, health & nutrition, gender equality, etc.), working in developing countries, preferably in Bangladesh.
∎ At least 5 years working experience in the area of humanitarian assistance.
∎ Work experience in multi-disciplinary teams and with a range of stakeholder organizations such as government institutions, international organizations, donors and civil society organizations, etc. is desirable.
∎ Candidates should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Bangla. Fluency in local language (Chittagonian) would be an asset.
∎ The Contract will be on an annual basis with the possibility for extensions within the lifecycle of the FSS project contingent on performance.
∎ Travel will be required.
∎ The Technical Specialist will work mostly from FSSP office in Dhaka but has to travel frequently to Cox's Bazar.
