Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage daily hotel and restaurant operations smoothly and efficiently
∎ Lead staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
∎ Ensure excellent guest service in multilingual and multicultural settings
∎ Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage financial reporting
∎ Oversee inventory, ordering, and supply management
∎ Enforce hygiene, safety, and health standards (HACCP, fire safety, etc.)
∎ Plan and coordinate events, banquets, and seasonal promotions
∎ Support marketing, sales, and partnerships with local tourism bodies
∎ Ensure facility maintenance and coordinate with service providers
∎ Build relationships with suppliers and comply with local regulations
∎ Keep up with trends and seasonal needs in Italy and Malta’s tourism industries
