Responsibilities & Context:
Employment Status: Permanent in the rank up to SEVP.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Special Asset Management Division with responsibility for recovery and resolution of non-performing and classified loans.
Develop and implement effective strategies for loan recovery, restructuring, settlement, and legal resolution of problem accounts.
Monitor and analyze the portfolio of classified and stressed assets and ensure timely action plans.
Coordinate with concerned division for effective recovery and resolution strategies.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines relating to classified loans and provisioning.
Negotiate with borrowers for restructuring, settlement, or recovery arrangements.
Provide regular reports and strategic insights to Senior Management and Board Committees on asset quality and recovery performance.
Strengthen recovery mechanisms and introduce innovative approaches for improving recovery rates.
