Experience:

Experience Requirements
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Sales and Marketing within the hospitality industry.
At least 2–3 years in a senior managerial role such as Head of Sales or similar position.
Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel/resort will be given preference.
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and business growth.
Strong knowledge of corporate sales, MICE, travel trade, OTA, and hospitality sales strategies.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and business development skills.

Job Context
DuSai Hotel & Resorts Ltd., a renowned 5-star resort located in the Moulvibazar district of the Sylhet region, is seeking applications from highly experienced, dynamic, and results-driven hospitality professionals for the position of Head of Sales. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading the Sales Team to achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, occupancy, and profitability targets.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the Sales Team to maximize performance.
Identify and develop new corporate, government, travel trade, MICE, and leisure business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and business partners.
Prepare annual sales budgets, revenue forecasts, and strategic business plans.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
Coordinate closely with the Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office, and Food & Beverage departments to optimize sales performance.
Conduct sales presentations, client meetings, hotel inspections, and contract negotiations.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
Ensure the achievement of individual and departmental sales targets while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Represent the resort at trade fairs, exhibitions, networking events, and promotional activities.
Develop sales policies, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns in collaboration with management.
Monitor and ensure the achievement of sales targets by subordinate team members through effective coaching and performance management.
