Experience:
4-years graduation in any discipline from a reputed university with no third class/division or equivalent CGPA in the academic record. Having Postgraduate degree will be considered an added advantage.
Professional qualifications in CFA/ FRM will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 15 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in recovery/loan workout/credit risk management at senior level.
Strong exposure to NPL management, restructuring, rescheduling, and legal recovery process.
Age not exceeding 55 years as of September 30, 2025. The age limit may be relaxed based on relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Bank’s Recovery Division to ensure effective recovery of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and written-off assets.
Formulate and implement recovery strategies and action plans to minimize defaulted exposures.
Oversee branch-wise recovery performance, set recovery targets, and monitor achievement.
Ensure proper compliance with Bangladesh Bank’s regulations, guidelines, and circulars relating to loan classification, rescheduling, and recovery.
Liaise with Legal Division for legal actions, suit filing, and follow-up on pending cases.
Maintain effective communication with defaulting clients for restructuring, rescheduling, and settlement of loans where feasible.
Regularly review recovery MIS, analyze delinquent portfolios, and report to Management, Board, and Regulators.
Build strong coordination with Credit Risk Management, Special Assets Management, and Business Divisions to control future NPLs.
Supervise and guide recovery teams across branches and zones; ensure training and capacity building of recovery officers.
Prepare periodic recovery reports for Senior Management and Board Committees.
Undertake any special assignment from Management related to recovery and loan monitoring.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting line.
