Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or related field
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare budget, monitor and coordinate the production activities in aligning with company goal.
∎ Supervise all aspects of seed production fields activities.
∎ Coordinate the production team to prepare and complete growing seed throughout the season; including but not limited to field preparation, planting, fertilization, irrigation, harvest, seed storage.
∎ Responsible for the team management of Hybrid Rice , Seed Potato , Vegetable Seed Production and Inbred Rice Seed Production.
∎ Scout production fields to collecting information for smooth operation and communicates with Production Managers.
∎ Troubleshoot with any seed production related issues and communicates in a timely manner to the management staff for assistance.
∎ Communicate and educate other management staff or employees on processes and technology usage.
∎ Adhere to industry quality standards for all products.
∎ Maintain production equipment and property management.
∎ Update equipment as needed with new industry technology in mind.
∎ Stays up to date on production technology and trends.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years' experience on Seed production and quality control knowledge of Seed
∎ Exceptional analytical skills
∎ Excellent communication & interpersonal skill
∎ Willingness to travel all over Bangladesh and work extended hours depending on seasonal demands
∎ Must be reliable, flexible and require minimal supervision
∎ Self-motivated and work with a hands-on attitude
∎ Able to multi-task individually as well as part of a team
