Educational Requirements:

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): ERP, Good knowledge in MS office

Job Context:
∎ Examination and evaluation of adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control and risk management system at various operations and activities of the MEP Group.
∎ Review of the accuracy and reliability of MEP Group’s accounting records and financial reports with a view to ensuring robustness of Internal Financial Controls on financial Reporting.
∎ Checking both transactions and functions of specific internal control procedures at various departments/ offices and establish transparency, accountability and fairness of every activity of the company.
∎ Evaluation of adherence to legal and regulatory requirements covering Acts related to Finance, Banking and Taxation laws and approved policies and procedures.
∎ Examine that resources are acquired economically, used efficiently and safeguarded adequately.
∎ Carrying out special assignments as directed by the senior Leadership team/ Audit Committee.
∎ Value addition to improve operational efficiency and internal control systems.
∎ To ensure the compliance of company Risk Management policies by respective projects/ units/ regions/Corporate Office Evaluation of Management Information System (MIS) Reports.
∎ Prepare an annual audit plan in consultation with the Leadership Team/Audit Committee.
∎ Implement the annual audit plan, including as appropriate any special tasks or assignment assigned / allocated by the Leadership Team/Audit Committee.
∎ Will have a regular and open engagement across the organization, particularly with the Leadership Team and with the Audit Committee.
∎ Must lead and direct an internal audit service that is resourced to be fit for purpose.
∎ Establish a standard Report System for the leadership team/audit committee to take decision for development based on the audit recommendations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To supervise the audit program & lead the assigned audit team and take the responsibility of planning, executing and managing the audit program.
∎ To prepare & distribute audit plans, programs, reports and presentations weekly, monthly, quarterly or when required.
∎ Monitoring the audit assignments effectively, developing audit team, allocating audit resources and defining deadlines etc.
∎ Develop, introduce and implement proper audit process whenever needed in accordance with management approval.
∎ Check Stock Status and Variation, Cash Book and Status of Physical Cash, all kinds of Challans, Cash Summary, and Vouchers of all Expenses
∎ Check all kinds of Vouchers (e.g. Received Vouchers, Payment Vouchers, and Purchase Vouchers), Salary and wage sheets, Petty Cash Statements of the Corporate Office and all Branches.
∎ Handle accounting software tally, ERP- 9 independently
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management."
