Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company’s overall finance and accounting functions.

• Supervise and manage the finance and accounting team, ensuring effective performance and timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh accounting standards, tax laws, regulations, and other applicable financial policies.

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses.

• Monitor cash flow, financial planning, cost control, and overall financial performance.

• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other relevant external parties when required.

• Ensure timely completion of tax, VAT, audit, and other statutory compliance requirements.

• Provide financial advice and recommendations to management to support business decisions.

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial management procedures.

• Perform other finance and accounting-related duties assigned by management.
