Job Context:
∎ To act as head of department of F&A dept. of NAMSS and work as top team member in managing and driving the organization following the agreed strategies, budget and plan of the Company.
∎ To assist the Board and the MD/CEO in meeting shareholders expectation and maintaining compliance, profitability and financial health of the company.
∎ To ensure that the finance function act as an active partner with the other departments and adds value in delivering the strategic imperatives.
∎ To recruit, develop and retain finance staff that can operate at a level comparable with any best-of- class finance function of the similar industry.
∎ To develop the strategic planning process as an integral part of the business so that all functional activities work towards clear and consistent strategies which consider both short and long issues and which improve shareholder value.
∎ To set up corporate governance and other regulatory requirements as practiced in a compliant and value-based company.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide excellent finance management, and enhance finance /supply chain awareness throughout the company. Ensure the seamless incorporation of finance disciplines into all areas; in particular provide excellence in supply chain and operations support.
∎ Manage the preparation of short and long-term business plans for the company, including the provisions of financial forecasts, models and analyses.
∎ Direct the maintenance of accurate and detailed accounts for all aspects of the business to meet relevant statutory and corporate accounting requirements and assist in the effective management and planning of the business.
∎ Continuously improve the quality of management information using ERP platform to enable the organization to make better decisions.
∎ Develop and enhance the resource allocation process within the business so that inefficient spend is minimized and resources are allocated to value adding activities.
∎ Ensure internal control procedures are an appropriate balance between efficiency and control and ensure that the risk management process within the business is robust, up to date and has sufficient ownership at senior levels throughout the organization.
∎ Challenge the status quo and be a catalyst for change. Provide imaginative ideas and solutions that deliver improved performance.
∎ Perform a lead role in the development and implementation of a strategy that enable the business to add value for shareholders.
∎ Recruit and develop finance and accounts staff so that they are able to achieve their full potential and assist finance to be a value adding function.
∎ Manage working capital of the business with assistance of supply chain function in the most efficient way maintaining aggressive stock-holding days and attracting suppliers' credit to the highest level possible.
∎ Efficiently and prudently manage Company's fund requirement with maintaining sound relationship with banks and other lending agencies.
∎ Oversee the COGS, products pricing, wastage management, sourcing and inventory management with collaboration of operations and supply chain functions.
∎ Provide a planning function to the organization, which ensures that all functional activities work towards clear and consistent strategies which consider both sort and long issues and which improve shareholders value.
∎ Enhance the reputation of the company with external bodies, some of whom will be stakeholders, to ensure that the reputation and profile of the company is benefitting of the significance of the company in the country.
∎ Regularly update the board on financial health and projections of the company with full satisfaction of the board.
∎ Work with MD/CEO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivation stakeholder's relationship.
∎ Oversee the management and coordination of all financial reporting activities for the organization including company's profit & loss accounts, cash flows, balance sheet, reports to regulatory and external authorities.
∎ Oversee the coordination and activities of internal and external auditors and ensure that all compliance issues are met and the preparations of annual financial statements are in accordance with BAS / BFRS or relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Coordinate and assist in all secretariat functions like arranging and communicating the board and shareholders meeting, preparing agenda with CEO's/MD's guidance, circulation and maintenance of board papers, minute books and submitting returns and maintaining liaison with regulatory authorities.
∎ Ensure compliance with Tax, VAT and other fiscal matters in accordance with fiscal laws in force at time.
∎ Ensure maintaining good credit rating for smooth financing of operations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The jobholder needs senior managerial experience.
∎ S/he should show good leadership to deliver both the change management and to drive the business forward.
∎ Good working experience with ERP system like SAP is essential.
∎ S/he should also exhibit good business and strategic acumen. A thorough understanding of other functional areas, e.g. operations, supply chain, marketing would be an advantage. Good communication and influencing skills are essential.
∎ Anticipating and responding to macroeconomic changes that affect the business.
∎ Meeting the shareholders/board's expectation with giving adequate returns.
∎ Understand the objectives, strengths and weakness of the major competitors.
∎ The business is mostly credit driven with monthly installment collection from customers. Managing back to back financing for credit sales customers is a must for business growth.
∎ As a highly leveraged company, arrange necessary funds, meeting all the financial obligations and making constant effort to improve cash flow by managing working capital in the most efficient way.
∎ Always drive for reduction in interest payments, improving cash flow with different creative sustainable efforts to reduce dependence on banks and strengthening the balance sheet.
∎ Communicate successfully with our key business partners (e.g. banks) such that they support our business strategy.
∎ Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics & dependability
∎ IT SKILLS: Being a senior member of the team this role requires to dive various IT initiative to make the process and systems efficient and time bound.
