Responsibilities & Context:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the Solar Business as an independent, profitable SBU.

• Formulate and execute the short-, medium- and long-term business plan.

• Build complete EPC capability: survey, design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.

• Develop rooftop, industrial, commercial and utility-scale solar projects.

• Develop captive, net-metering, wheeling, PPA, OPEX/ESCO and EPC-based business models.

• Lead Anwar Group’s own rooftop solar projects and independent solar projects, including Chor Betagi and Kaliakor.

• Identify and appoint world-class technology, equipment and EPC partners.

• Establish reliable sources for solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, batteries and balance-of-system components.

• Build strong internal engineering, project execution, sales and after-sales teams.

• Develop institutional, industrial and commercial customers across Bangladesh.

• Prepare technical proposals, project costing, financial models, ROI and payback analysis.

• Arrange or facilitate project financing in cooperation with banks, NBFIs, investors and development partners.

• Manage tenders, RFQs, contracts, negotiations and project risk.

• Ensure timely delivery within approved cost, quality and performance parameters.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant government, utility, electrical, safety and environmental requirements.

• Establish remote monitoring, preventive maintenance and performance-management systems.

• Develop AMC, O&M and long-term customer-support services as recurring revenue streams.

• Ensure achievement of annual sales, installation capacity, profitability and cash-flow targets.

• Report directly to Group Management on business pipeline, project execution and financial performance.
