Experience:

• Masters

• Minimum Master’s degree from a recognized university.

• Professional qualifications and relevant training in Customs, VAT, Bond, or Commercial operations will be considered an advantage.

• Minimum 10–15 years of practical experience in Bond, Customs, and Commercial operations in a reputed export-oriented textile/garments industry.

• Must have strong knowledge of bonded warehouse operations, customs procedures

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Good computer literacy and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage government liaison effectively.

NBR regulations

• Experience in handling Bond License renewal independently is mandatory.

• Candidates having experience in knit textile industries will be given preference.

Newage Textiles Limited is a 100% export-oriented knit fabric manufacturing company operating under bonded warehouse facilities approved by the Customs Authority under the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Bangladesh. To strengthen our Bond & Customs Compliance operations, we are looking for a highly experienced and competent professional for the following position:

Job Responsibilities

• Handle all day-to-day Bonded Warehouse related activities as per Customs Bond Rules, SROs, and NBR regulations.

• Manage all in-bond and ex-bond related works including UD, Bill of Entry, EXP, Customs documentation, and related compliance matters.

• Ensure timely preparation, submission, and completion of Bond License renewal formalities.

• Maintain liaison with Customs Bond Commissioner ate, NBR, EPB, BGMEA/BKMEA/BTMA, and other relevant government authorities.

• Monitor import-export compliance and bonded inventory management.

• Ensure proper maintenance of bond registers, statements, stock reconciliation, and audit compliance.

• Handle customs audits, inspections, and compliance verification efficiently.

• Advise management regarding updates in customs laws, regulations, and bonded warehouse procedures.

• Lead and supervise the Bond & Customs department effectively.
