Experience:

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System

Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAB.

• Age 35 to 50 years

Financial Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement financial policies and strategies aligned with the company’s business model in the sanitaryware, kitchenware and ceramic industry.

Lead financial forecasting, cost planning, and long-term strategic analysis to support growth.

Provide financial insights to senior leadership on margins, pricing strategies, and market entry feasibility.

Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting

Supervise all accounting functions including AR/AP, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial closing.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS.

Oversee proper treatment of inventory valuation, especially for imported sanitaryware, kitchenware and ceramic goods.

Trade Finance & LC Handling

Ensure accurate costing of imported goods, considering CIF values, LC margins, customs duties, and related logistics expenses.

Work closely with commercial and procurement teams to track supplier payments and shipment timelines.

VAT, Taxation & Compliance

Ensure compliance with VAT and Supplementary duty Act 2012, Customs Act, Income Tax Act 2023, and Bangladesh Bank foreign exchange regulations.

Monitor VAT deduction at source (VDS), tax deduction at source (TDS), and VAT rebate/reclaim on imports.

Liaise with NBR, external auditors, customs officials, and legal consultants to resolve tax and compliance issues.

Treasury, Forex & Banking

Optimize cash flow and working capital by closely tracking receivables, inventory turnover, and LC utilization.

Budgeting & Cost Management

Lead preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and departmental expenditure.

Implement cost control measures without compromising supply chain efficiency.

ERP System & Process Automation

Ensure accurate and efficient use of ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally).

Drive automation of reporting, inventory integration, and real-time financial dashboards.

Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounts professionals.

Develop internal capabilities and conduct training on compliance, finance procedures, and ERP usage.

Build strong coordination between finance, procurement, warehousing, and sales departments.
