Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Hands-on experience requires the ability to prepare, backing and decorate a variety of Bakery and Fast-food items, Doughnut, Cake items, croissant, Bread items, Pastries, Pitha etc. as per market demand
∎ Brainstorm innovative food and bakery concepts in line with market trends, and execute comprehensive strategies for recipe development, renovation, flavor enrichment, cost efficiency, and proactive expansion to meet customer preferences
∎ Enhancing the skills of cooks and assistants involved in food processing to ensure food safety, hygiene, cleanliness of equipment, and manufacturing unit
∎ Conducting inspections of bakery items to ensure adherence to established standards regarding quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal
∎ Utilizes expertise in instructing and operating bakery machinery and equipment to prepare high-quality bakery products, while also training staff in proper food handling procedures
∎ Overseeing the management of factory machinery, equipment, logistics, furniture, and warehouse. Also, supervising factory operations, including event management, branding, packaging, daily production, sales, and overseeing bakery staff and sales units
∎ Ensures accurate maintenance of documentation and reporting, and trains participants accordingly. Additionally, conducts risk assessments at all levels
∎ Strategically arranging bakery items in display cases to encourage customer purchases and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner, and develop participants to do the same
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ This position will provide technical support and will be a key contributor to initiate and develop new recipe and managing all functions of the Food Production and Stewarding operations for making distinctive bakery treats, BBQ delights, and event planning to create memorable experiences
