Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Social Science/ Business Administration/ Accounting or Finance.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To map and keep an inventory of past, existing, and potential donors and grantors of the School
∎ To maintain active communication channels with such donors in collaboration with the Communication Team of the School and represent the School at both national and international forums and promote the School as a research partner
∎ To actively seek grant opportunities, such as, Expression of Interest and Request for Proposal, and inform the senior researchers of the School
∎ To facilitate and coordinate the proposal submission process by
∎ keeping track of the important deadlines to facilitate submission of proposal or EOI in timely and orderly fashion
∎ identifying the research and implementation partners and matching with external experts, if necessary, in accordance with the donor expectations
∎ developing a repository of documents commonly required for proposal submission such as researcher CVs, compliance documents such as audit reports, due diligence and compliance documents, support letters of both internal and external partners etc. as required by the potential donors
∎ understanding and informing donor conditionality's and requirements and ensuring compliance by the research teams
∎ ensuring competitive yet strategic budgets by coordinating with Research, Finance, and HR teams of the Schools as well as research partners, if required
∎ reviewing the submission documents, providing feedbacks and ensuring the flow, and consistency of the proposal documents
∎ To develop an effective Grant Monitoring Protocol for all current and future active research projects at the School, in particularly to monitor and analyze all budget trends and make recommendation for cost control for various grants
∎ To ensure all internal and external (e.g. of the donors) compliance requirements are met
∎ To lead a research coordination team with focal persons from all active research projects
∎ To ensure timely closures of ongoing research projects and to ensure archiving of all project assets and documents (e.g. reports, data, tools) by coordinating with project team
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of progressive work experience in grant management,
∎ Excellent oral and writing communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Interested to work proactively in very fast-pacing work environment with growth mindset.
