Experience:
Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Registration: Must possess a valid and active Grade-A Pharmacist Registration (BPC).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in community, model, or hospital pharmacy is preferred.
Experience gained at reputable institutions like Lazz Pharma, Aks Pharmacy, or similar organizations is a distinct advantage.
Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, patient safety orientation, and excellent communication skills.
Technical: Ability to use pharmacy management software is highly desirable.
The duties are grouped into four critical areas:
Setup & Documentation: Proactively manage all required DGDA and government documentation, licensing, and permissions to ensure the legal establishment of the pharmacy.
Compliance: Ensure the physical layout, operational procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meet all Model Pharmacy standards.
Liaison: Serve as the primary contact point for DGDA officials during inspections and for maintaining continuous compliance.
Operational Oversight: Oversee the complete daily operation of the Model Pharmacy.
Procurement: Establish and manage reliable pharmaceutical supplier relationships.
Stock Control: Implement proper procurement, receiving, secure storage, and stock rotation systems.
Waste Prevention: Maintain accurate expiry date tracking to actively prevent medicine wastage.
Supervision: Supervise and guide Grade-C assistants in stock handling tasks.
Accuracy: Accurately review and dispense prescription medicines following BPC and DGDA rules and maintaining a zero-error dispensing policy through robust verification procedures.
Security: Maintain strict, legally compliant records for all controlled drugs.
Consultation: Provide clear, accessible, and comprehensive medication counseling and safety advice to patients.
Guidance: Guide customers on appropriate Over-the-Counter (OTC) medication selection and general health issues.
Staff Coordination: Supervise and guide two Grade-C pharmacists who will support daily tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow across both shifts.
Monthly Salary: 20,000 – 30,000 BDT (Negotiable, based on relevant experience).
