Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

• The GM, QED is responsible for overseeing the full scope of outerwear operations, ensuring robust quality assurance, technical process control, and operational excellence in line with organizational and compliance standards.

• The role requires strong experience in high-tech outerwear product lines, including fake down, real down, seam sealing, bonded, and high-frequency welded garments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage overall quality engineering operations across all production units.

• QMS Compliance: Ensure effective implementation and compliance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and buyer standards.

• End-to-End Oversight: Oversee end-to-end quality control from raw materials to final inspection.

• Process Standardization: Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives

• Technical Process Control: Monitor and control critical processes such as seam sealing, bonding, and welding.

• Risk Management: Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Systems Strengthening: Strengthen in-line and end-line quality assurance systems.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with teams across Production, IE, Maintenance, and QA for process optimization.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with product safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.

• Team Development: Develop and mentor the QED team to enhance technical capability and performance.

• Operational Support: Support new product development and factory onboarding processes.

• Innovation: Drive innovation and automation in quality and production processes.
