Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term business development strategies.

  • Identify new markets, sectors, and business opportunities aligned with company goals.

  • Prepare annual business plans, revenue forecasts, and growth targets.

2. Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential risks.

  • Analyze industry developments and recommend strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain a strong database of potential clients and projects.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.

4. Tendering & Proposal Management

  • Identify and evaluate tender opportunities (local & international).

  • Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.

  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, and legal teams for bid submissions.

5. Contract Negotiation & Deal Closure

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients and partners.

  • Ensure all agreements are aligned with company policies and profitability goals.

  • Oversee deal closure and handover to project execution teams.

6. Networking & Business Expansion

  • Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.

  • Develop strategic alliances, joint ventures, and partnerships.

  • Explore diversification opportunities in new business lines.

7. Internal Coordination

  • Collaborate with project, operations, finance, and HR teams.

  • Ensure smooth transition from business acquisition to project execution.

  • Monitor project pipeline and business performance.

8. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the business development team.

  • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure team development.

  • Foster a result-oriented and proactive work culture.

9. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare regular reports for top management on business performance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain proper documentation of contracts and business dealings.
