Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial activities of the company.
∎ Implement and monitor project-wise accounting for real estate developments using Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
∎ Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
∎ Manage cash flow, banking, and fund allocation for multiple projects.
∎ Supervise and verify daily accounting transactions: sales booking, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
∎ Prepare and present financial statements, MIS reports, and profitability analysis to top management.
∎ Oversee statutory compliance including VAT, AIT, TDS, and liaise with auditors and NBR.
∎ Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, project, legal) for financial planning and control.
∎ Lead and mentor the accounts & finance team to ensure efficiency and accountability.
∎ Ensure internal controls, audit readiness, and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
∎ Drive automation and ERP integration for smooth financial operations.
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of Tally ERP/Prime, strong leadership skills, and prior experience in the real estate/construction sector in Bangladesh.
