Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from any Government Institute.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Generator and Electrical Support Assistant works to support General Food Assistance program operations and is responsible to assist the Mechanical Engineer to ensure smooth electrical supply, generator support and maintenance of other electrical appliances.
∎ Ensure all electrical equipment is operational and maintained as per the standards.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, generator, equipment, and components in the different workplaces to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repairing.
∎ Ensure that a full preventative maintenance and servicing generator monthly plan is established and adhered to through day to day schedule maintenance activities.
∎ Ensure preventive maintenance of generators & all compressors for undistributed supply and also take proper plan about the generator, 250 Hours latter servicing the generator, motor, electrical panel board etc.
∎ S/he will conduct regular checking and monitoring of the generators in the outlet, performs diagnosis and troubleshoot in case of any problem/issues is found during initial testing, adjusts and installs voltage regulator, speed control, various setting etc. and change filters & performs standard servicing as per schedule.
∎ The role holder takes care of refuelling of generators & keeps record of fuel and maintenance logs and ensures regular checking of the designated outlet's electric lines, equipment etc., as well as installs and replaces parts, and carries out necessary maintenance of electrical & machineries.
∎ The incumbent regularly follows up on safe and regulated use of diverse equipment and repair schedule in a timely manner.
∎ Maintain good communication with the Engineering services (mechanical) for optimizing the maintenance process.
∎ Responsible for the overall maintenance of the outlets for any electrical and mechanical issues.
∎ To make sure all machineries are running properly.
∎ To solve all electrical, mechanical related problems as when required.
∎ Any other activities as and when required by the management.
∎ For any issues detected, s/he reports to Mechanical Engineer instantly and performs the prescribed actions. S/he also assists in rapid response activities as and when needed.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have knowledge maintenance of electrical
∎ Responsible for the overall maintenance of the outlets for any electrical and mechanical issues.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel, program.
∎ Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical department with NGOs or multinational company.
∎ 100% field based work
