We are seeking a General Manager for Operations and Foreign Affairs at a renowned overseas manpower recruiting organization.
Job Responsibility:
Effectively monitor and manage daily activities across various departments, including Marketing, Manpower, Visa Processing, and Flight Operations. Ensuring seamless coordination among these units is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and meeting organizational objectives.
The individual is responsible for overseeing the sales team to ensure the daily processing of visa transactions. Additionally, they coordinate the collection of passports from local agents, maintaining efficient communication and operational workflows to support the company's visa services.
Coordinate with government agencies such as the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET). This involves preparing and organizing documentation in strict accordance with their specific requirements to ensure compliance and facilitate the smooth processing of visas and related activities.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts and agreements necessary for organizational operations. This process may include liaising with legal counsel to ensure all contractual obligations are clear, enforceable, and aligned with legal standards.
Maintain effective communication channels with foreign companies, agencies, and clients to address and resolve issues related to visas, documentation, and migrant worker grievances. Prompt and professional handling of these matters is vital to uphold organizational reputation and operational continuity.
Act as a representative of the organization in interactions with government bodies, law enforcement agencies, and political entities. This role involves addressing various issues, including legal, political, and administrative challenges, to facilitate organizational objectives.
Engage with embassies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and BMET to resolve obstacles encountered during visa processing. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with these entities is crucial for expediting procedures and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Foster ongoing collaboration with recruiting agencies and local agents to negotiate and establish competitive pricing for visa services. Building strategic partnerships enhances operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
