Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage the Knitting & Finishing departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Plan and monitor the entire production flow, ensuring optimal capacity utilization.
Resolve production-related issues across departments (Knitting, Linking, Quality, Finishing, etc.).
Track daily production activities to ensure on-time shipment and efficiency targets.
Introduce and implement advanced machinery and production technology.
Coordinate with merchandising and planning teams for current and upcoming orders.
Maintain seamless interdepartmental communication and resolve operational issues.
Ensure high product quality and minimize alteration/rework costs.
Monitor and control factory expenses and administrative costs.
Conduct training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
Ensure strict compliance with labor laws, fire safety, and buyer-specific requirements.
Supervise recruitment and workforce placement to ensure departmental needs are met.
Address issues related to turnover, absenteeism, and employee grievances.
Promote quality KPIs, AQL systems, and root-cause problem solving for continuous improvement.
