Technical skills: Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and an understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards are essential.

Soft skills: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are crucial for this senior-level position. 

1. Strategic planning and leadership: Define and implement the overall electrical engineering strategy for the company, aligning with corporate goals for growth, quality, and efficiency.

2. Manage resources: Optimize the allocation of personnel and other resources across various projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints.

3.Manage financials: Prepare and manage the annual electrical department budget, controlling costs and ensuring projects remain profitable. Project execution and management

4.Oversee project life cycle: Supervise electrical projects from the initial planning and design phases through to installation, testing, and final handover.

5.Ensure quality and compliance: Ensure all electrical systems are designed and installed in compliance with national and local electrical codes, industry standards, and company quality specifications.

6.Control timelines and budget: Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation plans to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

7.Lead stakeholder coordination: Work with clients, architects, civil engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and all parties are aligned. 

8.Perform technical review: Review and approve electrical designs, specifications, and technical documentation, including schematics, load calculations, and drawings.

9.Implement technology: Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to drive innovation and improve the efficiency of electrical systems. 

10.Enforce safety protocols: Uphold and enforce stringent electrical safety standards and procedures on all construction sites to minimize risks.
