**Job Title:Full Stack Software Engineer**

**Location: Remote (work from home)**

**Office Hours: 9AM to 4PM EST**

### **About the Role**

We are looking for a **Full Stack Software Engineer** to join our team. You will work directly with the Technical Lead on web-based projects, including a complex data-driven application that requires strong backend logic, API integrations, and reliable system performance. The ideal candidate is a versatile developer with expertise in Python and JavaScript, comfortable working across the full stack, and experienced with cloud environments and databases.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Collaborate with the Technical Lead to design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
* Develop backend services and data-processing pipelines in **Python** and **Node.js**.
* Build responsive and interactive front-end features using **JavaScript** and modern frameworks.
* Work with **real-time APIs, external data feeds, and third-party integrations**.
* Manage and optimize both **NoSQL (MongoDB)** and **SQL-based databases**.
* Ensure high system performance, reliability, and fault tolerance in data-intensive applications.
* Deploy and maintain applications on **AWS** and manage **Linux-based environments**.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across environments.
* Follow best practices in version control, testing, and secure coding standards.

### **Qualifications & Skills**

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer.
* Strong proficiency in **Python, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), MongoDB, and SQL**.
* Experience working with **real-time APIs, data ingestion, and external service integrations**.
* Familiarity with **AWS services** (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) and deployment pipelines.
* Comfortable in **Linux environments** and command-line operations.
* Solid understanding of **web application architecture** and **RESTful APIs**.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

### **Nice to Have**

* Experience with **React, Vue, or Angular**.
* Knowledge of **data streaming, event-driven systems, or background job processing**.
* Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** and modern DevOps practices.
* Familiarity with **Docker or Kubernetes** for containerized deployments.
