Our technology team is evolving to embrace modern, AI-assisted development practices across all projects. We are seeking a pragmatic Full-Stack Developer who actively utilizes AI tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and optimize workflows. You don't need to build AI systems; you need to know how to work with them better than anyone else on the team. This is a fully on-site role. Don't apply if you're looking for a remote role.

• 3–5 years+ of full-stack JavaScript experience (Primarily MERN stack: MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). But experience with Ruby and PHP is a plus

• Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) in daily development

• Ability to write effective prompts for code generation, debugging, and documentation

• Practical experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Qwen, GLM, etc.) and vector DBs.

• Experience using AI tools for code review, test generation, and refactoring

• Strong grasp of REST APIs, state management (Redux), and component libraries

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience using AI tools for code review, test generation, and refactoring

• Working knowledge of web security fundamentals: input validation, secure authentication, and safe data handling

• Custom CMS, AI chatbot project experience is a strong plus

• Patience and genuine eagerness to mentor and guide junior developers

Responsibilities & Context:

• Develop and maintain backend APIs and full-stack features within the MERN stack and related technologies (Ruby, PHP)

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code across the full stack

• Integrate AI-assisted tools into the team's development workflow to boost speed and output quality

• Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks: boilerplate generation, documentation, unit testing, and more

• Create internal tools, templates, and scripts to accelerate AI-augmented development

• Implement cost and rate limit management strategies for third-party AI APIs

• Design and implement safe, cost-effective LLM/AI integrations and manage prompt templates and caching

• Deliver end-to-end AI features, including data pipelines for model inputs/outputs

• Champion best practices for AI-augmented development across the tech team

• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team

• Coach teammates on ethical AI usage and continuously improve the AI toolchain

• Collaborate with both tech and business stakeholders to deliver features efficiently
