∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of monthly Management Report and Balance sheet movements through updating all the related mapping, manual entries and other updates. Regularly communicate with FP&A team to update Budget and forecast in Management report.
∎ Support and assist with the overall SOX process covered by Financial Reporting team by monitoring each and every process of the team and their controls to ensure all the related compliances are maintained
∎ Manage lease management process and ensure all the relevant reconciliations
∎ Ensure segment reporting as a part of monthly reporting as well as ad hoc basis
∎ Ensure accuracy of provisions and other manual entries
∎ Analysis of Financial Performance and KPI through collecting information and justification from relevant stakeholders
∎ Communicate with HQ accounting team and designated persons in respective subsidiaries of Veon Group on various accounting and reporting issues
∎ Communicate with External and internal auditors (Local, Group, SOX) on various accounting and reporting issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years' experience with Financial Reporting or relevant fields
∎ Required Capabilities
∎ Strong knowledge on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
∎ Strong knowledge on Financial Reporting Process
∎ Strong knowledge on Internal Control & SOX
∎ Strong knowledge on Fixed Assets Process
∎ - Working knowledge on Telco business
∎ Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, with proficiency in excel and power point
∎ High co-ordination skill. Effective management of both internal and external stakeholders is required.
