Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
∎ Oversee and manage export documentation, LC handling, remittances, and foreign currency transactions.
∎ Maintain and strengthen banking relationships; negotiate terms and manage banking facilities, credit lines, and trade finance instruments.
∎ Ensure timely compliance with taxation laws, foreign exchange regulations, and other statutory requirements related to exports and international trade.
∎ Analyze financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements.
∎ Develop and implement internal control systems and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
∎ Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership for effective decision-making.
∎ Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
∎ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team aligned with business goals.
∎ Contribute to strategic planning and participate in business development discussions from a financial perspective.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of a Buying House (Sourcing). The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in export finance, banking transactions, and financial controls, with a proven ability to make strategic and independent decisions. This senior-level role demands a proactive approach in streamlining financial processes and contributing to the company’s operational efficiency and global competitiveness.
