Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom)
∎ Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAB and/or ACCA with good sound experience.
∎ Bachelor's in commerce, Finance, Accounting etc.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Role reports to Regional Finance Controller-South Asia.
∎ Monthly and quarterly closing of books along with preparation of internal financials per Company policy and accounting standards in addition to working knowledge of US GAAP.
∎ Monthly KPI reports, APAC reports, GM financials compilation & sharing to Managing Director.
∎ Preparation of monthly Manual Packs & GL reco tabs/schedules.
∎ Monthly tax and VAT compliances.
∎ Debtors control & management. Be a single point contact on finance matters for customer payments.
∎ Payroll management and ensuring processing of monthly salary payment, quarterly bonus payment in a timely manner.
∎ Product costing review and control.
∎ Preparation of annual sales budget variance analysis, budget schedules, budget P & L, budget templates etc., (Sales & COGS template, Power Bi template, WSD category-wise, Quantity-wise etc.,).
∎ Audits including but not limited to annual audit, tax audit, VAT & transfer pricing audit.
∎ Liaising with bank for LC related and other day today follow ups, including day to supervision of finance activities.
∎ To hold authorized signatory role.
∎ Help sales, marketing & operation teams to progress and grow business.
∎ Liaising with finance team members on daily basis to co-ordinate, clarify all issues related to accounting / finance or any other.
∎ To be able to manage notices received from any Government departments by arranging any data/information towards preparation of submissions.
∎ Managing the team & their work and working towards betterment of team.
∎ Overall team management and analyzing of various applicability's new changes/laws, amendments.
∎ Review of monthly intercompany reconciliation and accounting along with overseas payment and LC terms for the same.
∎ Review of daily accounting of business transactions covering bank payments, petty cash payments, vendor payments, collections accounting, inventory accounting etc.
∎ Working in close coordination with local sales managers and Regional Finance Controller for keeping overheads and expenses within budget, cash flow management, controls on pricing and margins.
∎ Ensuring compliance with Company policy like expense policy, bank policy, controls, debtors' policy etc.
∎ Accounting and assisting office manager for imports, LC, other bank related requirements.
∎ Good working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, others as possible.
∎ Need to be a strong team player (currently 2 members reporting to this role).
∎ Also, who can work with Alltech for longer terms, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 36 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3-4 years' experience in finance and accounting.
∎ Experience in multi-national companies or at least large local Bangladesh companies preferred
∎ High integrity and work ethics including proactive, high-energy level and committed individual
∎ Good computer skills including use of medium complexity ERP or accounting systems.
∎ Good spoken English communication skills and excellent Bangla spoken and written language skills.
