Job Responsibilities:
∎ MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
∎ Ensuring integrity of financial records and reports; deployment and maintenance of strong controls and compliance; facilitating efficient transaction processing; being a partner to the business providing information and analytical support, being accessible and available as a sounding board and raising constructive challenge; close involvement in forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning; influencing behaviours within and outside the finance function for continuous improvement. Support the review and monitoring of the overall internal controls framework, model month end review and financial control checklist status tracking as well as lead all day to day accounting, internal and external stat audit activity.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
∎ Ensuring accurate and proper financial accounting with periodic checks, scrutiny and reconciliation of the general ledger, sub-ledgers, fixed asset register, balance sheet schedules and related records
∎ Ensure the timely production of accurate management reporting, in particular month end P&L and forecast in the required timeframe including proper analysis and justification of variances as appropriate.
∎ Ensuring that appropriate and effective processes, controls and procedures are in place and in compliance with group and regional policies
∎ -Management and financial reporting for the business to ensure that information requirements - area, regional and group - are met in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
∎ a. Information and analytics
∎ b. Clarity on policies and procedures
∎ c. Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reports and forecasts
∎ d. Management of receivables, inventory, cable, FA verification and insurance requirements
∎ e. Cash forecasting and planning
∎ f. Close involvement and ownership in the preparation of forecasts, annual budgets and plans
∎ g. Being available and accessible to the operational team in the business providing input and support and raising constructive challenge
∎ Ensuring adherence to and compliance with direct and indirect tax laws and filing requirements etc. Payroll administration including contributions to social security, pensions and related filing etc.
∎ Provide direction, coaching, training and development opportunities to ensure a fully effective finance function.
∎ Influencing behaviours within and outside the finance function to ensure coordinated efforts for the growth and development of the business
∎ Embracing and championing continuous improvement within and outside the finance function adopting the Orange Excellence framework
∎ Responsible for ensuring that all statutory account filings (including branches and subsidiaries) are completed and filed on time.
∎ Work closely with Group Treasury to ensure reliable and accurate cash, foreign exchange and balance sheet forecasting including management of all reporting requirements.
∎ Own relationship and liaise with internal/external bodies including audit, tax & 3rd party advisors.
∎ Ensure compliance with all Aggreko plc. accounting and reporting standards.
∎ Model monthend file to be reviewed and updated on timely basis.
∎ Manage bonds and guarantees liaising with commercial team for new or renewal for bangladesh projects.
∎ Folow up regulary with BPDP/Agent on collections and invoice submission.
∎ Periodic internal control review to ensure no deviation from policy.
∎ Driving cost leadership to control, and minimize costs across business wherever possible.

∎ OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
∎ Co-ordination with the Asia management team and the Head Office at Jebel Ali as appropriate and necessary
∎ Compiling or coordinating any ad-hoc analytical exercises as may be required
∎ Co-ordination and facilitation of internal and external audits and ensuring requirements are met
∎ Any other duties considered essential for effective operations and services
∎ PERSON SPECIFICATION/SKILLS REQUIRED:
∎ Professional accounting qualification or Masters in degree
∎ Minimum of 8 years' experience preferably with an international company
∎ Strong accounting fundamentals and good knowledge of tax issues
∎ Good analytical skills and commercial awareness
∎ Good people management skills
∎ Good communication skills
