Educational Requirements:
∎ Postgraduate in accounting or finance with CA Articleship from a reputed CA firm.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check and record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash.
∎ Record journal entries relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs to the correct local and global chart of accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting in place.
∎ Assist management to prepare all periodical financial reporting packages, preparing analyses of accounts, producing monthly reports, and ensure reports are submitted to regional headquarter within the reporting deadlines.
∎ Calculate and make necessary deduction of withholding taxes from vendor invoices at the time of booking in compliance with the local direct and indirect tax rules, prepare payment to Govt. treasury on time.
∎ Process vendor payments by scheduling central payment upload and ensuring open items are offset in accounting system after the payment is successfully processed.
∎ Ensure correct tax deductions from vendor invoice and issue tax certificate to vendors.
∎ Maintaining historical records and keep proper filing of documents.
∎ Assist in statutory returns submission (online & offline) to different Govt. stakeholders/agencies within the stipulated timeline to comply with direct and indirect tax rules such as for monthly, half yearly and yearly submission.
∎ Maintain fixed assets register, calculate and posting of assets depreciation to accounting software on monthly basis.
∎ Calculate customer and/or supplier account balances and reconcile with GL totals.
∎ Prepare monthly balance sheet review along with the relevant schedules needed and bank reconciliation statement.
∎ Participate in inventory and fixed asset physical count following the fiscal calendar.
∎ Act to onboard new vendor and customers inside the accounting systems & review their entity return submission status in annual basis.
∎ Communicate to the departments related to direct and indirect tax authority and the submission of returns due to them regularly & as and when needed.
∎ Coordinate to the clients to ensure timely receipt of collection and the certificate against the Tax & VAT deductions.
∎ Any other relevant support needed by the local and regional management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 32 years
∎ 3-4 years of working experience under finance domain in a reputed business entity.
∎ Well versed to comply with all direct and indirect taxations and filing & submission process which is due to the authorities.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
∎ Instrumental in dynamic ERP environment with the self-learning quality and traits.
∎ Having good command in English.
∎ Ability to work under pressure with sense of urgency
