Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and oversee the overall Finance & Accounts operations, ensuring accurate, timely and effective financial management and reporting.
Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Banking Operations, ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation.
Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, MIS, management reports and financial analysis to support Management decision-making.
Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow planning, working capital management and budgetary control.
Monitor cost accounting, inventory, budget vs. actual performance, variance analysis and cost optimization, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure strong internal controls, financial policies, process compliance, risk assessment and audit readiness across the organization.
Oversee internal audit, payroll audit and financial process reviews, ensuring timely corrective actions and resolution of audit observations.
Monitor revenue, collection, receivables, payments and cash flow, ensuring financial discipline and effective working capital management.
Provide financial oversight of procurement, vendor management, purchase operations, store, inventory and material management, ensuring proper controls and accountability.
Review the financial aspects of CAPEX, projects, contracts, major procurement and business proposals, providing appropriate financial recommendations to Management.
Ensure proper inventory control, stock reconciliation, asset accounting, capitalization and financial documentation in accordance with Company policies.
Work closely with the General Manager, HODs and operational teams to improve budget ownership, cost awareness, productivity and financial performance.
Lead, supervise and develop the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring effective delegation, performance management and professional development.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, Company policies, financial procedures, tax/VAT requirements and statutory obligations, in coordination with relevant functions.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, banks, regulatory authorities and other financial stakeholders as required.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, automation and operational efficiency while maintaining effective financial controls.
Provide strategic financial insights and commercial recommendations to Management on profitability, risks, investments, cost structures and business performance.
Prepare and present regular financial and operational performance reports to Management / Board, highlighting key risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
Ensure high standards of financial integrity, confidentiality, accountability and professional ethics across the Finance function.
Perform other financial, commercial and strategic responsibilities and necessary reports assigned by Management / Board.
