Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/Masters in Finance or Accounting

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accounting and Treasury
∎ Prepare and maintain cash books/bank book ensuring completeness and accuracy of data entry. Ensure that coding is accurate and appropriately approved by authorized personnel.
∎ Update cash and bank books on daily basis, controlling access and ensuring data integrity.
∎ Perform posting of entries in SUN system when required and ensure accuracy and completeness of the process.
∎ Responsible for processing the payments for both Bank and cash transactions. Ensure completeness of payment documents in compliance to IRC and Donor policies and procedure
∎ Ensure internal control procedures are followed for all cash and bank disbursements, receipts, and transfers.
∎ Ensure all accounts are reconciled with closing balances of the general ledger.
∎ Carry out and document cash count as per the IRC policy and procedures.
∎ Validation of cash and bank spreadsheet before it is uploaded in SUN.
∎ Timely deposit VDS & TDS challan to gov’t treasury.
∎ Monthly reconcile VAT & TAX statement (deduct & deposit).
∎ Issue VDS (6.6) & TDS certificate to vendor on regular basis.
∎ Regularly do bank and cash reconciliation and update in BOX folder.
∎ Timely payment to vendor after receiving the bill from supply chain, Program and HR
∎ Proper documentation of bill and voucher with reference number in file
∎ Visit in CAMP for volunteer payment and UKHIYA office visit if required.
∎ Take approval in bill from respective department after finance review of the bill.
∎ Procurement Accounting
∎ Review Purchase request (PRs) for proper coding and budget adequacy before approval
∎ Review and account for procurement transactions to ensure adequate supporting documentation, accuracy of amounts and control over payments within limits.
∎ Participate and review the monthly/Annual inventory and fixed asset physical checks.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Solid working experience in finance departments with National NGO or INGOs with multi donor funded project.
∎ Strong computer skills - especially Microsoft excel and experience working with computerized accounting system.
∎ Bank reconciliation,
∎ Tax & Vat related work.
∎ Support donor audit
∎ Attend in meeting
∎ Field visit, Supplier visit
∎ Good English communications skills both verbal and written.

Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
