Our interventions are in food security, livelihoods, WASH and DRR in the geographical areas at risks of vulnerable and affected. In Rangpur region, ICCO Cooperation is being implemented number of projects projects in different districts. Now ICCO is looking for an experienced and ambitious professional for the position of Finance & Admin Officer (FO) to implement its RICE (Resilience Interventions for Community Empowerment) project.
∎ The Finance & Admin Officer (FO) is responsible for project planning and implementation under direct supervision and guidance of the Project Coordinator. S/he will supervise and manage project front line field staff members. S/he is an individual committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in project implementation and ensuring two-way communication.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial part:
∎ Assist in ensuring the timely payment of all bills and invoices with the proper authorization and supporting.
∎ Review bill vouchers of Gaibandha office and field office, make payment request and approved it from the authority.
∎ Data posting in Accounting software (Sage 300), data verify and preparing the vouchers.
∎ Deal with the bank and keeping a track of funds flow.
∎ Assist in preparing accurate and timely vouchers and proper records filing and retention.
∎ Assist in maintaining Bank book and Salary preparation
∎ Maintain cash book and Responsible for the management of petty cash,
∎ Identifying Govt. Vat & Tax and maintain separate register as per NGOAB requirement.
∎ Preparation of NGOAB budget and FD_6 budget as well as support to NGOAB related work
∎ Monitoring Advance management systems and ensure timely adjustment of advance.
∎ Maintain cash book and ledger, cash holdings, prepare monthly bank reconciliation and monthly report to Finance Manager
∎ Prepare monthly Expenditure verification report and report to Accounts Manager.
∎ Assist both the internal and external audit process as required and check compliance of existing donor rules and regulation
∎ All solution closing and Check reconciliation between SAGE and AS
∎ Responsible for Tax and VAT related issue
∎ Technical support in field office in finance related issue
∎ Monitor and on the job training of team supervisee
∎ Any other job assigned by management
∎ Administrative part:
∎ Ensure that the office systems and procedures are in place in line with ICCO requirements,
∎ Maintain database for asset, stock and leave management
∎ Procurement assistance, i.e. quotation collection, preparation of work orders, preparation of delivery receipts and handover documents in line with ICCO policy,
∎ Hand over and receive project's assets and maintain proper documentation and database for asset management,
∎ Update stationary stock and deliver stationary with proper requisition,
∎ Prepare monthly staff attendance sheets and ensure regular updates,
∎ Maintain an effective filing system of staffs' leave record, personal file and other administrative file,
∎ Provide travel support and coordination, including air tickets bookings and visa applications,
∎ Prepare drivers roster and ensure timely vehicle support to the office staff,
∎ Overall responsible for office maintenance
∎ Supervise Office assistant, Drive and Guard
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working with Accounting software package will be added value for the post,
∎ Advanced user skill in MS- Excel, word and PowerPoint.
∎ At Least 03 years working experience with NGO/INGO.
∎ Professional skills:
∎ Moderate financial analytical skills.
∎ Moderate in oral and written English and Bangla
∎ Ability and willingness to work in team and take pressure
∎ Personal qualifications:

Salary:
∎ Salary is BDT 70,000 per month including all benefits. Tax will be deducted from the salary.
