Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters' degree in Business Studies or Accountancy.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide Leadership, technical coaching and mentoring in finance and admin matters to the respective stakeholders in WFP SNSP Project.
∎ Ensure capacity building strengthening of related staffs.
∎ Raise timely the flag for any potential risk and the development and implementation of good internal controls, risk management, and utilization and safe guarding of assets according to WV approved policies and procedures.
∎ Set high quality performance targets, ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices and compliance with donors’ requirements and guidelines.
∎ Coordinate the Finance, Program team about planning and implementation processes.
∎ Ensure field operation in regard to expenditure, donor reporting, CBT distribution and day to day cost with PR.
∎ Support and work closely with the Project Manager- WFP SNSP Project.
∎ Budget implementation with program people, donors and other stakeholders within the project.
∎ Ensure budgets burn are reasonable, effective and adequately covering the costs of implementing the project.
∎ Responding to donor and other stakeholders’ requests and concerns accurately and on time.
∎ Ensure monthly donor reporting, JV request and cost booking in the SUN system.
∎ Work closely and support the program team ensure timely re-allocations of resources to areas of need but subject to donor prior approval or notification as determined by the donor agreement.
∎ Ensure monthly update and reconciliation of spending, receipts, settlements of facilitator remunerations, GIK and Cash Voucher.
∎ Follow up & ensure timely accrual of project expenses and liquidation of the accrued expenses is as per donor rules & regulations (signed agreement).
∎ Ensure good collaborative efforts within the program team and with other departments to ensure project implementation and close out.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Understanding of development issues.
∎ Basic knowledge and skills in accounting.
∎ Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to speak and write in English.
∎ Competent in the use of computer programs (spreadsheets).
∎ Strong Financial Analysis skills.
