∎ MBA in Finance / Accounting, Management / Masters in Accounting from reputed university preferably with CA Knowledge Level from the recognized university

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGO

Job Context:
∎ COVID-19 risk reduction support to the vulnerable communities in Teknaf and Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until March, 2021.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ FINANCIAL FUNCTIONS:
∎ Implement financial policies, procedure and requirement and ensure all financial activities are accordance with organization and donor guidelines.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end/project-end closure of accounts, including bank reconciliation, bank statement and other related documentations and submit reports to head office as per prescribed deadlines.
∎ Analyze budget and disbursement as per project budget activity line and prepare month- wise expenditure plan in consultation with Project Manager, Head of Finance & Accounts.
∎ Responsible for ensuring proper cash control.
∎ Ensuring maintain books of accounts and other financial documents.
∎ Closely monitor financial activities of the project.
∎ Check and verify bills and provide payments.
∎ Verify all types of financial transaction at random basis.
∎ Provide other financial support required during the project implementation.
∎ Ensure timely and effective follow up to audit observations and recommendations.
∎ ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS:
∎ Coordinate training and capacity-building activities to staff in administrative related areas.
∎ Responsible for Employee Leave Management and documentation as per NGO HRP&P.
∎ Formulate, implement staff safety and security measures and ensure Minimum Operational Security Standards (MOSS) compliance, in consultation with the Head Office and Project authority.
∎ Prepare correspondence, reports and documents as well as taking minutes of the meetings.
∎ Investigate frauds or any undesired activities.
∎ Manage the security personnel and follow up the cleanliness & security system of the organization.
∎ Keep update administrative records of the project.
∎ Provide needful support to HR activities and maintain administrative files & documents.
∎ Maintain liaison with relevant Govt. agency and stakeholder in project area.
∎ Ensuring proper utilization and safety of project’s and organizational assets, instruments, vehicles etc.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in truespirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.
∎ All other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fair knowledge on grants management, budget control and proper Accounts of emergency/humanitarian protects.
∎ Sound knowledge on using different software related to data entry, analysis, report writing and preparing presentation etc.
∎ Ability to work hard, work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude and ability to provide the Administrative support to the project team
∎ Self-motivated, independent of the ability to perform multi-tasks
∎ Proficiency in English speaking and writing
∎ Mentality to work in refugee camp area and field visit following Humanitarian Principles.
∎ Sound knowledge of essential software like MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and finance & accounts related software.

Salary: Tk. 85000 (Monthly)
