  • Coastal Livelihood and Environmental Action Network (CLEAN) is looking for a suitable Bangladeshi candidate for the position of Finance & Admin Officer, who has strong skill in Google Excel, Finance and Admin and ready for urgent Joining.

Responsibilities & Context:

About CLEAN:

The Coastal Livelihood and Environmental Action Network (CLEAN) is a voluntary organization that works on Climate Change, Energy, Environment, and Food Security. CLEAN works with around 50,000 people all over Bangladesh through partners, especially at the climate hotspots and energy hubs. CLEAN also works with partners in the South Asia sub-region as the focal point of the South Asia Just Transition Alliance (SAJTA'). CLEAN grounds its Thematic Pillars and strategies at the community level to ensure the efforts are translated to the local communities and tailored to local realities. CLEAN involves students, academicians, researchers, social leaders, media, local government, and policymakers to create an enabling environment for people and the ecology.

Working Environment:

1) Working Days and Hours: Saturday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), 9 AM to 5.00 PM (Full-Time Job)

3) Duration: Two Years Initially with an option of Extension.

4)Job Station: Boyra, Khulna, Bangladesh (May need to Visit outside of Khulna city for Financial work).

Job Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting:

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.

  • Financial Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bookkeeping, ledgers, and journals.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports) to management, stakeholders, or board members.

  • Invoice Management: Ensure that all incoming and outgoing invoices are processed accurately and on time.

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

  • Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll functions, ensuring employees are paid on time and in accordance with company policies.

  • Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and timely filing of taxes, including VAT, income tax, and other relevant statutory obligations.

  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with financial standards.

Administrative Support

  • Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing office supplies, equipment, and maintenance.

  • Human Resources Support: Assist with HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and performance tracking.

  • Document Management: Maintain proper filing and documentation systems for all administrative and financial records.

  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate office events, meetings, and team activities.

  • Travel Arrangements: Manage travel logistics for staff and executives, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation.
