Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's Degree with a good academic background in Primary, secondary, and non-formal education and a good understanding of Education & CP programme/project implementation and monitoring system.
∎ Postgraduate degree in Education, Social Science/Developmental Studies.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ The main purpose of this position is to ensure the quality of the implementation of the Education and Child Protection TP and support Programme Officers, Area Program Managers and Upazila / Urban Programme Manager, and Community level promoters & facilitators in implementation.
∎ The position will develop and implement a capacity-building plan for project staff, partners, and stakeholders along with an AP wide-work plan.
∎ The position is responsible for identifying key strategic partners for the implementation of the Education & CP TP and sharing learning, concerns, and best practice with APC, Deputy Technical Manager-Education, and other relevant departments and colleagues.
∎ This position will maintain strong and regular external engagement with Education and Child Protection stakeholders in the AP areas.
∎ TP Specialist should cover 1- 4 Upazila / Urban locations. This position will be based at AP or Upazila / Urban sub-office.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensures staff and facilitators within Primary Focus Areas (PFA) under AP are following TP standards and implementing TP as per AP plan/design. Provide subject matter expertise such as technical knowledge, professional suggestions, and guidance;
∎ Assess capacity and implement capacity-building plans for PFA level staff, Community Promoters and Facilitators, and key program/project partners.
∎ Monitors and ensures the quality of the overall program at PFA by frequent field visits and conduct quality assessments of activities for program improvement. Information from monitoring is shared with Deputy Technical Manager Education and AP Manager and Upazila/Urban Programme Manager for prompt action.
∎ Coordinates and provides quality support to the field level organizations/committees/organizations like VDC/Community Group/ Producer Group/ Community Support Group/relevant Education Committees/ CBO/Child Forum/Youth forum etc.
∎ Manage works efficiently through prioritizing and allocating resources and tracking progress of key TP monitoring indicators (activity/output/outcome);
∎ Support PNS/GAM project proposal writing, as well as monitoring the PNS and Grant projects within the Area Program. Undertakes assessments and research to support grant acquisition and new AP placement
∎ Build relationships with local-level networks/coalitions for local level advocacy and ensuring support for the implementation of the TP.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Postgraduate degree in Education, Social Science/Developmental Studies.
∎ Sound knowledge on approaches/techniques on child development/literacy/reading skills of children
∎ Good conceptual and practical skills to write concept notes and project proposal
∎ Good facilitation skills of Training, Orientation, Workshop, and Advocacy programs.
∎ Management and leadership ability
∎ Good communication and networking skills
∎ Good proficiency in English & Bengali, both written and verbal
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel, SPSS, and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Understanding of multiculturalism and experience working in a multi-cultural/ethnic/religious environment
∎ Commitment to work for child well-being and a good understanding of Child protection and participation
∎ Proven knowledge and experience on CVA, understanding of social accountability
∎ Strong Knowledge of the social dimension, Legal structure of the government, power dynamics, government relations
∎ Good report writing and documentation skills
∎ Minimum of 4-7 years of working experience in the area of education programs/interventions.
∎ Work experience with Most Vulnerable Children and in relation to ECCD/literacy/reading promotion of children.
∎ Proven experience as a team player
∎ Work environment 80% field-based and 20% office based

Salary:
∎ Tk. 65000 - 70000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is fixed as per organizational structure and policy.
