Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices (Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet Region). CB is implementing 91 on-going projects covering 201 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples. Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox’s Bazar is looking for suitable candidate for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Field Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of Basic nonformal education in the Rohingya Camp and Early Childhood Development (ECD) center within the host community. The Field Officer will play a crucial role in implementing and monitoring educational programs, fostering community engagement, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.The details of the position including job responsibilities, educational qualification and other qualities /competency required for the above positions are given below for your information:
∎ Implement and oversee Basic nonformal educational programs through Myanmar Curriculum (MC) in the Rohingya Camp and ECD center in the host community.
∎ Closely work with the host community, especially with the Government primary school and other organizations, to provide capacity-building training for ECD teachers and facilitate necessary communication with the Government counterpart in the host community.
∎ Ensure the delivery of educational activities that aligns with established Education sector standards and guidelines.
∎ Monitor and assess the effectiveness of educational initiatives, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
∎ Collaborate with teachers, staff, and community leaders to create a supportive learning environment.
∎ Facilitate training sessions for teachers, staffs and community members to enhance educational practices.
∎ Maintain accurate records and reports on program activities, attendance, and outcomes.
∎ Foster positive relationships with local communities, parents, and relevant partners.
∎ Respond promptly to any challenges or concerns related to educational programs in the designated areas.
∎ Stay informed about educational trends, best practices, and relevant policies.
∎ Contribute to the development of training modules, strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the overall quality of education in the targeted locations.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary : 60,000-70,000 BDT (Consolidated) per month.
∎ Bonus : As per organizational policy
